Tall structures such as cooling towers, silos and chimney stacks often have limited or zero means of access. In the case of some smoke stacks there is access to one side via a cat ladder. In the case of high rise buildings the scaffolding access option is costly and time consuming and the cost can often disproportionate the actual work that needs to be done. These structures can be “climbed” using various industrial rope access techniques such as bolting and aiding. Once access has been gained, temporary and permanent platforms
can be installed for use by other disciplines for a wide range of services. In addition to the above, Skyriders can perform the following concrete related work at any location on the structure:
